The lovely old pub exuded charm, making it a perfect retreat for my family. The warm and welcoming staff, including Ian and Andrew, provided insights into local activities, helping us plan our days. The spacious rooms, with their unique WW2 RAF theme, offered us comfort after a day filled with adventure. We found the delightful evening entertainment to be a highlight. Fishing experiences nearby piqued our interest, allowing us to enjoy the area’s water adventures together. Our meals were well-prepared and satisfying. John Barleycorn is a lovely choice for families seeking a quaint, inclusive experience in the English countryside.
